On April 6th 2017, the New York City Environmental Justice Alliance celebrated 25 Years and (Social) Change.

The event honored NYC-EJA’s Magnificent Seven Awardees — former NYC-EJA staff and board members who have helped build up the environmental justice movement in New York City — and lifted up decades of organizing and advocacy by our member organizations. The celebration was a chance to reflect on all that we have accomplished together as a movement, as well as an opportunity to enjoy ourselves, recharge, and continue carrying out this much needed work.

This epic event commemorated the contributions to and the achievements of the environmental justice movement in New York City over the last 25 years. Thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts and made the night memorable!
